Apple Cinnamon Crock Pot Steel Cut Oatmeal

Ingredients:

Cooking Spray

2 cooking apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups water

1 cup steel cut oatmeal

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

Spray a 2 or 3 quart crock pot with cooking spray. Combine all the other ingredients in the Crock Pot, and stir it all together. Cover the crock with the lid, and turn it on to low heat. Cook for 7-8 hours or until the cereal is thick and creamy. Dip into bowls, and top with nuts, raisins, or additional milk and butter.
